The performance program at City Dance Corps.

At City Dance Corps, our Performance Program offers young dancers the opportunity to grow through training, teamwork, and the thrill of live performance. Designed for dedicated dancers who want to take their skills to the next level, the program includes two unique youth companies:

The Groove Crew (Ages 8–12)

A fun, high-energy hip hop company where dancers build confidence, stage presence, and a strong foundation in performance through exciting group choreography and teamwork.

Youth Performance Company (Ages 12–17)

Our pre-professional training company for dancers serious about their craft. With a focus on contemporary, jazz, and hip hop, dancers refine their technique, explore creative expression, and perform in professionally staged productions.

Both companies rehearse weekly and perform multiple times throughout the season. Dancers benefit from mentorship by industry professionals, increased stage experience, and being part of a supportive, inspiring dance community.

Professional Performance Opportunities

Dancers perform in professionally staged shows and community events, gaining valuable stage experience that builds confidence and presence.

Advanced Training & Mentorship

Three weekly rehearsals (6 hours total) with experienced choreographers help dancers refine their technique, develop artistry, and receive one-on-one guidance in a supportive environment.

Creative Growth & Community

Dancers explore diverse styles like contemporary, hip hop, and jazz while building lasting friendships and being part of a motivated, like-minded dance community.
